Design idea for faster iPad book browsing

Ausgestellt am 23. Januar 2012 vom in App, Apple, geeky

Now that’s a very cool suggestion from the folks at KAIST Institute of Information Technology Convergence. This video of a design proposal for the iPad interface zips straight through the Internet. Easy browsing like a real book. Just when Apple has again taken a big step towards digital books and especially textbooks that would be a great improvement, or what do you think?

Apple wants to revolutionize the textbook

Ausgestellt am 19. Januar 2012 vom in App, Apple, geeky

No, I have not forgotten about it. Today was the Apple Education Event in New York’s Guggenheim Museum. Apple had once again something, in their eyes, Revolutionary  to presented.Apple wants to revolutionize the textbooks. Idea: With digital books, blinking text, photos, and many built-in videos, studying will be twice the fun… yeah sure. But enough of the banter, I can find some positive points: It saves weight. Not bad. 1 iPad instead of 5 books These things should be cheaper than real books. This will have to show iBooks will be always up-to-date.

Soulcalibur for iPhone and iPad in the App Store

Ausgestellt am 19. Januar 2012 vom in App, Apple, Games

It is finished. Long it has been announced and today it is finally on the Apple App Store to find. SOULCALIBUR Manufacturer Namco Bandai offers the fighting game for 11.99 in the App Store. I personally find a bit too high, even if it is  20 % off at the moment. 7.99 would have done too, right? Great, the 215Mb version is a multi platform version, therefore, you buy it one an can play it on your iPhone and iPad.But

Google Plus Auto Hashtags

Ausgestellt am 18. Januar 2012 vom in geeky, Google Plus

I am very happy hanging around on Google Plus. And now there is something new. Auto Hashtags, meaning you just type # and then once you start a word or typing a single letter, Google automatically suggests words. Actually, just like at the Google search. Very nice feature, especially if you see the various and currently popular suggestions. Bye the way, if you type #A Android is first and Apple is second…
